Thimble Sizing
To get an idea of the size of thimble to order, wrap a string lightly
around your finger just before the base of the
fingernail, as shown
in the sketch below. Mark across both ends of
the string in a place where they overlap.
Then lay the string along a ruler and measure
the distance between the
marks. Your measurement may not be exact, but
it will give you an idea of the size to
order. Look up the measurement in the chart
below to arrive at a size.
